ExperienceI am an adjunct English professor at two universities in Austin, Texas. I have over four years of experience teaching working adults and first-year college students in online and “brick and mortar” learning environments. As a professor, I value the opportunity to work with students one-on-one, and I believe that an instructor’s individual feedback is a key aspect of learning college composition skills.
My tutoring sessions are designed to give you the individual feedback you need in order to help you develop your writing skills. In addition, I also provide you with “homework” assignments that you can complete in your own time. I believe that my tutoring sessions and additional assignments will help you master a wide variety of college composition styles, including narratives, argumentative essays, and analytical papers. Because of my broad experience, I can assist you with essays for classes other than English.
For example, if you need to write papers for Psychology, History, or Sociology classes, I can help you develop and edit your written work. I am experienced in citation styles for MLA, APA, and Chicago.

HobbiesWhen I am not teaching, I enjoy reading, hiking, and watching my cats go about their crazy antics.
